Hello everybody,

As all of you know by now I am writing my honors thesis on the reconstruction of Beirut following the civil war.

I really need some help though.

I do not want to get into the political side of this conflict or anything like that, I just want to write on how Beirut never dies.

If anybody has any information that can help me out, any pictures (as I'm including a video slide show), any documents, any testimonies, anything... please send me them.

I'm hoping to not only have a paper to present, but a video streaming showing the reconstruction and people's comments.

As some of you know, being Lebanese outside of Lebanon means that most people don't even know where Lebanon is, much less what happened there, or the effects of the civil war had on the nation. I just think it would help a lot to show people what has happened and why I love Lebanon. My mission seems to be to represent Lebanon and the Lebanese diaspora and to inform the world why Lebanon is a great nation...but I'm not complaining.

Currently, I'm compiling a list of links of pictures to include in the project slideshow for this class. This should be interesting to say the least. I just need all the help I can get...Having one computer is totally not cool right now, not with my sister using it also almost all the time.
