Blog 1:2-15-07 Many thanks to those of you who have consented to remix my narrative. I appreciate your willingness to provide me with your constructive views on how I might improve my writing. To that end, I have reposted my original narrative sans an unsigned remix that was posted during the seminar.

It is unfortunate that not everyone in our classroom understands that we have a unique and genuine opportunity to grow within the context of the wiki. Actually, it angers me. It is such a rare experience to be given creative freedom in academia and yet, there are those among us who continue to disrupt for the sake of disruption. Bottom line for me - I'm done. Knock it off. It's not funny. I'm here to participate, learn and thrive. Stop getting in my way.

Blog 2:2-16-07 It has been a long day of walking to work, working and then trying not to be crabby with my husband after work. I am tired but have managed to make progress on the group prompts, my blog and the start of my remixes for the week in addition to reading the Synch text. It is a really interesting read, at least for me. Once I have had a chance to complete my section I will post a brief outline on the link for it. I am hoping that everyone will take the time to respond to our group prompts. I found it enjoyable searching for visuals for my guilty pleasures (although I think this is an interesting phrase in and of itself as I have come to a point in my life where I feel little or no guilt about indulging in pleasure.) It was an interesting exercise trying to find the images I felt would portray the emotions I feel about the pleasures I enjoy. Thanks to Meagan and Steven for encouraging us to share them. The prompt that Jessica and I posted, although it may seem a bit frivolous to some, ties in with the themes in Synch. We will share more about how when we meet on Wednesday. In the meantime, have a great weekend, check out the prompts and respond as you are able and try to enjoy at least one "guilty" pleasure!

Blog 3:2-20-07 It is entirely too early to be trying to write but I will continue to push myself. I am determined to summon the courage to remix my three peer narratives and although I have a plan about each of them I am feeling very leary about it all. I have finished reading my portion of Synch and am looking forward to sharing about it. It is an interesting read. I have also been reading another interesting text in order to stove up my courage to write as I think I can. It has been helpful. More on that at the seminar tomorrow. Now I'm off to remix.

Blog 4:2-21-07 I am exhausted and trying desperately not to give in to the upper respiratory tract infection I feel coming on. It is an annual struggle with me as I fight against my allergies, but I digress. I have enjoyed reading Synch and am going to do my best to share a comprehensive outline later today in the seminar. My thanks to everyone who remixxed my narrative. Your efforts are appreciated. It was an interesting experience remixxing the work of Jessica, Steven and Kris. Their narratives, although diverse, were all alluring as I attempted to provide a constructive remix for each of them. All in all a good exercise and has given me food for thought as I review the remixxes of my own narrative and attempt to improve upon it.
