Farewell

Page history last edited by Anonymous 2 yrs ago

I just wanted to make a blog saying that I had a really good time today at the globe. I think that everyone did an amazing job on their projects. I thought Crystal's poem was wonderfully written and beautifully spoken; I thought Hend's presentation really captured her passion for Beirut; Brian and Caitlin's presentation was very insightful and interesting, I could tell they also were passionate about their topic; Big thanks to Sarah Mae (and her husband) for their LARGE contribution to our project, it turned out great; I thought group max's projectturned out awesome as well, very intense! although I wish we would have had the setup you described, but it still turned out great. Caitlin took some good pictures on my camera throughout some of the presentations so I will be posting those shortly on the wiki for your viewing pleasure.

I really just wanted to say thank you to everyone in the class, this was definitely one of the most memorable classes that I have been a part of, and everyone played a part in making it such a great class! Today was very bitter-sweet for me. I am definitely ready for the relaxation of summer, but I will miss everyone and looking foreward to our seminars with our crazy conversations. I hope that we do get together over the summer and that we stay in touch via the wiki or all the passed out cell phone numbers to keep everyone posted on whats going on with school and life.

So to all of my classmates I say a formal farewell, I know that some of you I may never see again, and some of you I may keep in touch with, but I wish you all the best of luck in your academics and life, I'll miss ya...Sorry to be gushy, just had to say it!

Ps. here are the pictures...there are a lot so I made another page for them...enjoy :)

I would like to chime in with Meagan, and thank each of you for playing a part and playing together these past few months. I've learned so much already, from each of you, and, this weekend, as I reflect on our experiments and bask in the afterglow of yesterday's installations/presentations, I will post memories, dreams, reflections, and remixes here. Chorus with us! -ShareRiff

All: please check out the Nation Student Writing Contest Dr. Auld tipped us to yesterday. I do believe a small amount of tuning would render entries guaranteed to garner interest at the Nation. -ShareRiff
