So here is my freesound mix. I have always been a frustrated musician. I have felt the music from my earliest days but unfortunately I have very little, to zero, talent to go along with that feeling. So I put together this song with your basic rhythm section with a blues guitar overlaid. When it came to the vocals I could not find anything I really liked. I tried to record my own but, because my recording equipment is shite, they came out terrible. So I put in this one of a guy singing "Nuclear Genocide" followed by an explosion, don't know why but it was the closest "fit" I could find.

I added a track to two others compostions. First I added some thunder to Crystal's Costa Rican rainstorm because, as much as I like a good rainstorm, I like it with thunder even more. I think it goes back to a primordial joy that most humans have at the sound of inclement weather when we are safe and dry in our caves. Is there a better feeling than lying in bed, with the covers pulled up, and another warm body pressed up against ours for comfort and heat, while the sounds of the thunderstorm outside rage and give contrast to the warmth and security inside? It's a tough one to beat.

The other composition I added to was Steven techno mash. I listened and read his comments about wanting a fourth track. I had an inspiration based on a link Trey had added earlier to GoodVibrations explaining the technical aspects of the song and it's use of a Theramin. A Theramin! That's what Steve's fourth track should be. So out to freesound I go and badda bing badda boom a theramin is added, and, if I do say so myself, it works. Maybe I could be a musician yet. I wanna do vocals for my mix but I need better recording equipment.

I do love a good Florida rain storm with all the bells and whistles but in Costa Rica I don't believe I ever saw any lightening or heard any thunder. The rain storms were much calmer and more peaceful. As for your addition to Steven's I loved it! It most certainly added a lovely new layer to what already existed. --Crystal
